Kelowna Sun Pointe Village was the first Community of Care in the Okanagan Valley, providing three levels of senior care designed to meet the changing needs of Kelowna’s residents. Independent Living with Support Services, Assisted Living and Residential Care are all provided at Sun Pointe Village, a beautiful and well-appointed Village that makes everyone feel at home.
Suites
Independent Living and Assisted Living
Sun Pointe Village’s Joe Rich community offers 39 Independent Living suites and 20 Assisted Living suites in a variety of floor plans. Sizes range from 347 square feet for a compact studio suite to 656 square feet for a spacious one-bedroom. All suites have an easy-to-use seated shower and include a mini-fridge and a microwave. The suites are unfurnished, allowing you to bring your own furnishings to make it feel like home.
Residential Care
Sun Pointe Village also provides 100 government-subsidized Residential Care suites throughout four communities, each offering specific and individualized senior care. Hollywood community serves Residents who are cognitively well but require physical assistance. Belgo is a secured community caring for Residents with dementia. Reid’s Corner and Ellison serve those with moderate to later stages of dementia, also in a secure environment. All our Residential Care suites are furnished with a single bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers and a nightstand, but we encourage you to bring your personal belongings to make Sun Pointe Village feel like home.
