Christine Moore & Olivia Ritchey | Concert Performance

Join us Tuesday on November 21 at 2.30PM for an afternoon filled with melody. This free performance will be held at Village at Mill Creek in the Town Hall.

Principal Flutist of the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra since 2010, Chrstine Moore is a Kelowna-based musician and teacher. Originally from Vancouver, Christine studied flute with Kathleen Rudolph of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra and later Lorna McGhee and William Bennett. In addition to the OSO, Christine performs with Opera Kelowna, The Kamloops Symphony, The Okanagan Festival Singers and Cirque Musica. She teaches private Flute lessons and directs two flute choirs at Kelowna Community Music School.

A featured soloist and instrumentalist on CBC, harpist Olivia Richey's most recent collaborations have included performances with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony, theatre Calgary, and at the Banff Centre for the Arts. Olivia held positions with the Regina and Saskatoon Symphony Orchestras as a young professional, and currently performs across Western Canada, most regularly with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra and the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. Some of her most memorable performances series have been in the pit with Pacific Opera and the Victoria Symphony. Olivia is currently a harp instructor for Fountaview Academy in Lillooet BC.
