West Cana is looking for a Casual Janitor to support our Long Term Care Center Community at the Heights at Mt. View in Victoria BC.
About The Role

Casual: Days vary, 7:00am - 3:00pm, 1:00pm - 9:00pm

Location: 3814 Carey Road, Victoria

Wage: $23.38 / hour
Must Haves
-
Successful completion of secondary school or equivalent

Legally allowed to work in Canada
-
Ability to read and communicate effectively in English

Ability to organize work and work under strict time constraints

Upon hire and annual maintenance of Valid certification in WHMIS
-
Satisfactory proof of COVID-19 vaccinations
-
Passes and complies with the Ministry of Justice Criminal Record Check upon hire and every 5 years thereafter.

Building Service Worker Certificate and/or Institutional Aide Certificate is preferred

Institutional cleaning experience is preferred

Certificate from a program in general maintenance or extensive experience as a maintenance worker, with supervisory skills is preferred
