Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist - (Full-Time)

Baptist Housing is looking for a full-time Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join the Team at our Evergreen Community in White Rock a 252 bed Long Term Care Facility.

Reporting to the Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for meeting Resident needs by providing initial assessments, consultations and recommendations regarding the Resident’s physical and functional abilities. This role also contributes to orientation of new Team Members by maintaining education on Safe Resident Handling. Knowledge around the Least Restraint CPG, and Falls Prevention CPG’s. Candidate will also oversee Rehab Assistant Team.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy or Occupational Therapy.
  • Current registration with governing body in British Columbia.
  • Combination of education and experience.
  • Progressive and innovative approaches to gerontological rehabilitation and maintenance of strength.
