Must Haves

  • Grade 12 

  • Keyboard at 50 wpm. 

  • Minimum 2 years scheduling experience, 1 year in a healthcare setting preferred 

  • Intermediate Word/Excel and Outlook (will train on company based software program). 

  • Previous experience interpreting and applying collective agreements in a scheduling services environment. 

About The Role

*These are two casual positions

The scheduler is responsible to efficiently coordinate and manage schedules while maintaining accurate time keeping records to ensure smooth and effective operations 

  • Cultivates positive relationships with Residents, Team Members, Families, and Partners 

  • Commits to customer service excellence 

  • Develops, coordinates, and adjusts schedules in compliance with agreements 

  • Ensures timely schedule completion 

  • Maintains effective communication with Team Members 

  • Accurately manages computerized scheduling and timekeeping 

  • Organizes electronic records and compiles data 

  • Conducts daily timecard system audits 

  • Reviews scheduling transactions for accuracy 

  • Validates and edits team member timecards as needed

Your Work Location

Victoria is rated in the top twenty of world cities for quality-of-life.  Our community, The Heights at Mt. View is a 7-storey, 260-suite residence located in the neighborhood of Saanich.
