Scheduling Assistant – Summer Student
Baptist Housing in Kelowna is looking for a Scheduling Assistant – Summer Student to work in the Regional Office serving our three residences, Sun Pointe Village, Village at Mill Creek and Village at Smith Creek.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing Team Member vacancies on a daily basis and other administrative tasks. The scope of the position includes receiving Team Member sick calls, vacation requests, and shift swaps, successfully replacing absent Team Members, as well as maintaining Team Member files.
This position works from our Sun Pointe Village location, and shifts typically run from 8am – 330pm, Monday to Friday. As a summer student, the position is for 8 weeks at 35 hours per week, with the potential of ongoing casual work. Qualifications for this position require the candidate to be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident. Strong computer skills are a must. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, a warm personality, and a great sense of humour.
