The Vancouver Region Team is looking for a temporary part-time Visitation Screener who will also be able to provide spiritual care services to join them at Inglewood Care Centre, in West Vancouver.

Reporting to the Visitation Coordinator, the Screener provides logistical and administrative support to the team and our Residents. Duties include reception; scheduling of Resident visits, producing, maintaining and distributing a variety of documents; interacting with Residents and their families ensuring the efficient operation of the Resident Visitor program.

As part of the spiritual care team, the screener will work with the Chaplains and have the skills needed to come alongside others and provide appropriate prayer, spiritual and emotional support. The successful candidate will be aligned with the faith statement of Baptist Housing and will have a minimum of two years of theological training.

The successful candidate will have completed Grade 12 and a minimum of a year of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. An understanding of the healthcare environment is an asset. The candidate will also have a minimum of two years of theological training and at least two years of ministry experience.

*Consent for a Criminal Record Check (CRC) for working with Vulnerable Adults is required.
