Assisted Living Manager - Victoria

Baptist Housing is recruiting a permanent full-time Assisted Living Manager who is excited to join our team in Victoria at Marrion Village.

The Assisted Living Manager ensures that all practices and procedures meet the guidelines of the Assisted Living Registrar and all duties are carried out within the scope of practice. The Assisted Living Manager is highly service oriented, has a focus on achieving goals, is able to work independently and as a collaborative Team Member. You have highly developed literacy skills with proven ability to plan and produce a broad range of professional and polished documents. You are a critical thinker and problem solver, detailed and organized, and able to manage your time, workload and conflicting priorities effectively and efficiently.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-occupancy interviews, providing orientation to Residents, Families, and Team, developing and monitor Resident Personal Services Plans, liaising with professionals such as Case Managers, Home and Community Care RN, pharmacists and physicians, and administering medications where appropriate. The Assisted Living Manager provides leadership, mentoring and support to Assisted Living Team of Resident Assistants.

The successful candidate must have current LPN licensure with the College Of Licensed Practical Nurses Of British Columbia (CLPNBC) and at least five years' experience managing services within a seniors' health care community. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be considered. Experience managing in a unionized environment is an asset.

This is a permanent full-time (37.5 hours per week) position. Compensation includes a comprehensive benefits package.
