Clinical Administrative Assistant - Kelowna

Baptist Housing is looking for a full time, permanent Clinical Administrative Assistant to join our team at the Regional Office. The Clinical Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to the Clinical Services Manager for all Baptist Housing Regions and ensures the efficient operation of the Clinical Practice/ Education Team.

Duties include communication; developing a variety of documents; planning and organizing projects and educational and clinical initiatives; liaising with numerous Team Members, partners and external agencies. The Clinical Administrative Assistant is responsible for all clinical intranet information (Policies, Forms, and Education Resources) and clinical processes developed and posted on the intranet. Finally, the Clinical Administrative Assistant contributes to the design of clinical intranet pages, designs electronic based forms and demonstrates proficiency at organizing and mining data to build reports for clinical leaders and Administrators.

You have a positive, "can do" attitude, the ability to foster and maintain relationships, and model our values in all interactions. You must have a strong background in administration, exceptional computer skills, a typing speed of at least 50 wpm, and the ability to work with autonomy and as a committed member of a team. You are able to be a critical thinker, have a keen eye for detail and accuracy, are highly organized and able to manage time, workload and conflicting priorities effectively and efficiently. You have the ability to see the big picture and, knowing all of the processes, know what must be done with little direction.

The Administrative Assistant must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in administration. Experience with intranet management and design, document management, online course development, PowerPoint, and excel based reports is an asset. This position is full time (36.5 hours per week), Monday to Friday. Compensation is competitive.
