High Honours for Maintenance

On May 31, 2016 our Baptist Housing Team was honoured to receive a 2016 FORTIS Efficiency in Action Award for a large commercial project. The Team headed by Eric Klein, Dayle Krahn and Sean Bremner replaced older boilers with new high-efficiency ones at four Baptist Housing Residences through the Efficient Boiler Program. They also upgraded controls to optimize comfort for our Residents and save an estimated 4,250 GJ annually! The Team is now planning LED lighting replacements.

Pasta Party | West Kelowna Seniors Luncheon

All seniors welcome to join the fun!

West Kelowna Luncheon will be hosting a pasta party with entertainment by Dan Summers.
On November 19 the doors will open at 11.30 AM and lunch will be served at 12.00pm.

Honouring Heroes

We can't acknowledge Remembrance Day without honouring our own Baptist Housing heroes.

Please join us in congratulating our Village at Mill Creek Resident, J. Arthur Ruddock who was awarded the rank of Knight of the French National Order of the Legion of Honour for his personal involvement in the liberation of France during World War II. A wonderful honour for a wonderful man!

The Heights at Mt.View receives LEED Certification

The Heights at Mt. View Team has received certification in Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED). LEED certification is used worldwide to recognize industrial sustainability and resource efficiency.

Located in Saanich, BC, the 7-storey residence provides 260 residential care suites. The design of this residence was recognized for design innovation, water and energy efficiency, good use of materials and pollution prevention. Way to go team!
