The Administrator is committed to achieving Baptist Housing’s mission, compelled by the values of Jesus Christ, to provide exceptional services where seniors experience life well in our Vancouver Independent and Assisted Living communities, through spiritual care and operational leadership.
Shannon Oaks (145 suites) is an all-inclusive premier Independent Living residence in South Vancouver. From fine dining to a variety of daily activities and excursions, Shannon Oaks Vancouver is the perfect place to enjoy retirement. Clarendon Court Assisted Living, (59 suites) is a model of senior care in a retirement residence setting. This level of support is ideal for seniors who enjoy independent living and who may need some assistance with daily tasks such as mobility, personal care and medications.
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day operations; providing leadership and strategic direction that results in a high level of service and care for all residents which aligns with Baptist Housing’s corporate vision, goals and strategic planning initiatives in a person-centered culture. The Administrator is responsible for establishing and maintaining positive relationships with residents, families, team members, partners, and all stakeholders including regulatory authorities, associations and agencies.

Education and Experience
Experience leading a team with and at least five years’ experience coordinating services in an administration/management capacity within a Seniors Independent Living, hospitality or service setting or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience is required. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred from an accredited college or university with specialization in business administration, social sciences or health care administration.
Proof of Covid 19 vaccination and a Criminal Record Check are also required in this role.
