Do you have to be Baptist? No, you are not required to be Baptist to join our communities. 

What is your pricing? Rent depends on whether you receive a subsidy from BC Housing. We offer Affordable housing in Armstrong, Maple Ridge, Salmon Arm, Vancouver, Victoria and White Rock. Assisted living and Long-term care can be subsidized through your local health authority; whereas, our Independent Living pricing starts at $3000.00.

What is the process for my parent if they want to become a resident? We offer four levels of senior living in 21 separate communities, to learn which level of housing and care is right for you:

  1. Check out our Housing and Care Services At A Glance document for a comparison of what is available for each level of care.
  2. Then select a location under our preferred housing type page that best suits your needs.
  3. Subsidized rentals, Long-term and Assisted living communities often require applications for subsidies and a health authority case manager; whereas, Independent Living suites require you to visit with our manager to tour a suite that's available, review a health assessment and sign a contract before moving in. Please contact our local office for advice on next steps for your particular situation.

I find the idea of downsizing overwhelming. Can you recommend movers? Yes we can, please choose your location and we will be happy to refer you to our local partners.

What is the food like? Our menus are overseen by red seal chefs. Delicious meals are freshly prepared by our kitchen and we hope that you join us for an event or a tour to sample in person.

Do any suites come with ovens or cooktops? Our affordable rental suites have full kitchens. Our other suites offer kitchenettes.

Do any suites have bath tubs? Most of our suites have walk-in showers, please check with our local team to find out what's available for rent.

Do your suites have a/c? Air conditioning is often included or has been added by the resident. Please check with our managers to find out about your specific location and whether it's available.

Do you provide all meals as part of the rental package? Can I opt out of meals and just rent a suite? Meal programs vary depending on the level of care; for example, Long-term care and Independent living communities include meals in their packages and renters cannot opt-out. 

Do you have any suites with balconies or patios? Some of our suites offer balconies or patios, please refer to the floor plans offered on our location page for detailed layouts.
