You'll have your valid BC Class IV Driver’s License with a Clean Driver’s Abstract (provided annually) and a current first aid certificate.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Under the supervision of the Administrator, you’ll provide reliable bus service to residents, ensuring their transportation needs are met on campus. You will prioritize safety by carrying out driving responsibilities in a safe manner and following designated schedules. You will also take care of the bus, conducting pre-trip inspections, communicating maintenance issues, and keeping the bus clean. You’ll maintain strict confidentiality, showing respect for residents' privacy, spirit, dignity, and individuality. Adherence to organizational policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols, is a key aspect of the role. You’ll complete the Bus Mileage Log, contribute to establishing a culture of health and safety, and actively encourage safe practices among team members. As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you;ll model organizational values, exemplify servant leadership by meeting the needs of others, and foster positive relationships with residents, team members, families, and partners. This is a part-time casual position.
