Baptist Housing is looking for a Human Resources Coordinator to join our Team at our Evergreen Baptist Care Community in White Rock, BC.

The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and administering established Human Resources processes for Evergreen Baptist Community of Care. In collaboration with the Human Resources Manager, and working as a member of the Human Resources Team, the Coordinator ensures the accurate and timely delivery of services to managers and Team Members.

The Human Resources Coordinator assists with hiring and onboarding; ensures tracking of all Team Member information; coordinates all internal job postings, pursuant to the respective Collective and changes resulting from these; produces a variety of reports from various data sources; develops and delivers a variety of documents including letters, spreadsheets and forms; provides administrative support and assistance to the Human Resources Manager with a variety of human resources tasks, projects and events; and, leads scheduling duties.

Qualifications

As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you have exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to foster and maintain relationships, and model our values in all interactions.  You demonstrate a desire to assist, respond to needs with a consistently positive attitude and look for opportunities to serve; able to work effectively, both independently with a high level of autonomy and in collaboration with a team; resolve conflict and preserve relationships in alignment with our values; are a critical thinker with good problem solving ability, and are highly detail-oriented with well-developed organization skills.

Education and Experience

Human Resources degree or diploma from a recognized post-secondary institution or an acceptable equivalent combination of education, training and experience

A minimum of two years’ experience  providing administrative or scheduling support, preferable in a unionized, health care environment.

HR experience in the following is an asset: Collective Agreements; various stages of the selection process; and, scheduling systems in a health care environment.
