Baptist Housing provides communities and exceptional care to over 2800 seniors in British Columbia. We provide Residential Care, Assisted Living, Supportive Housing, Home Support and Adult Day Programs at our residences in Kelowna, Vancouver and Victoria. Job Summary
Reporting to the Administrator, the successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out the person-centered care plans for our stable Residents. The scope of the position includes performing a range of nursing interventions such as Resident assessments, treatments, and medication administration, as well as providing direction to the Care Team. As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you have exceptional interpersonal skills, the ability to foster and maintain relationships, and model our values in all interactions. We have current opportunities in all three of our Kelowna locations, including Village at Smith Creek, Village at Mill Creek and Sun Pointe Village.
Qualifications
- Membership in the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM)
- A great sense of humour
- Effective time management skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work variable shifts
- Consent for a Criminal Record Check (CRC) for working with Vulnerable Adults
- COVID Vaccination
