As the Clinical Educator & Practice Lead, you’ll provide clinical consultation, program leadership, quality assurance and improvements while navigating change and disseminating best practices through education and training. 

About The Role

In your role as the Clinical Educator & Practice Lead at Baptist Housing, you are instrumental in driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of care and services. You meticulously review quality-focused data, identifying areas for improvement, and spearheading the development and implementation of quality improvement plans. Your expertise ensures compliance with professional, legal, and organizational requirements as you advocate for resources and funding to support quality initiatives within the region. Additionally, you provide invaluable support in consultation, education, and training, aligning delivery with best practices and industry standards. Your dedication to program management and oversight guarantees that designated clinical frameworks meet all quality standards, while your commitment to health and safety, risk management, and incident prevention fosters a culture of safety and well-being within the organization. Lastly, you play a crucial role in supporting departmental budget frameworks, optimizing resources, and identifying strategic needs to drive organizational success. 

Requirements

  • Graduated from a recognized school of nursing and is registered with BCCNM. 

  • Alternatively, possess a degree in a recognized health science/professional program. 

  • Possess 5 years of healthcare experience. 

  • 5 years' experience with adult education or clinical instruction. 

  • Two years of nursing experience are required, with a preference for long-term care experience. 

  • Certification in a gerontology program is preferred.

Compensation & Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, featuring an annual salary range of $101,000 to $117,000 per year. Your comprehensive benefits include employer-paid extended health and dental coverage, along with a generous vacation time. Additionally, we provide RRSP matching contributions and support for your ongoing professional development.
