Baptist Housing is looking for a Resident Services Coordinator to join our team in Oak Bay.  The Resident Services Coordinator provides administrative support to our Shannon Oaks Campus and concierge service to our Residents and the public in a hospitality setting.  The Coordinator supervises, manages, coaches and supports a team of Service Assistants and coordinates workload to ensure timely delivery of services.

As an ambassador of Baptist Housing, you have exceptional interpersonal skills and love working with the public and seniors.  You have the ability to foster and maintain relationships, and model our values in all interactions.  The Resident Services Coordinator is highly service-oriented, able to work independently with a high level of autonomy and as a collaborative Team Member.  The ability to multi task in a vibrant front desk environment is required.

You have highly developed literacy and numeracy skills with proven ability to produce a broad range of documents including manuals, reports, spreadsheets, and visual presentations.  You are comfortable managing accounts and creating invoices.  You are a critical thinker and problem solver, detailed and organized, and able to manage your time, workload and conflicting priorities effectively and efficiently.  The successful candidate will be experienced in leading and managing a team, comfortable with coordinating the workload of a large office and will have a warm, friendly personality that makes our day!

The Resident Services Coordinator requires formal training and experience in basic accounting and is an advanced user of Microsoft Word, Excel and Publisher or equivalent graphics software.  You also require a minimum of 3 years of experience providing administrative support and interacting with clients and the public in a service or hospitality industry and some supervisory and leadership experience
