About The Role
You’ll assume multifaceted responsibilities encompassing both team and program leadership, as well as a vital role in health and safety oversight. You will adeptly model the Wellness Model of Care, inspiring your team to follow suit. Leading resident care conferences and facilitating end-of-service planning, when necessary, you will also provide crucial crisis intervention and debriefing for residents, their loved ones, and team members. In the realm of program leadership, you will offer adjustment counselling, assess eligibility for financial or material assistance, and collaborate with the care team for personalized service plans. Your role extends to resourcefully leading support groups, advocating for legislative programs, and revising policies when needed. You will foster invaluable relationships with residents, team members, and external agencies. Bed matching and continuous quality improvement initiatives fall under your purview, along with maintaining a private pay waitlist. Prioritizing health and safety, you will identify and rectify unsafe situations, ensuring the adoption of secure work practices. Your contribution to building a culture of health and safety will be instrumental. Your comprehensive role will be integral to addressing the psychosocial needs of residence members, ensuring their well-being, and fostering a supportive environment. This three-day a week, part time position reports to the administrator.

Your Work Location
The seaside city of White Rock. Our Evergreen community is located at 1550 Oxford Street.
