Health Care Assistant - (Casual)
Baptist Housing is looking for Health Care Assistants to join our Team at Evergreen Community in White Rock, BC
Under the direction of the Team Leader assists Residents with the activities of daily living, including personal, social, physical and recreational needs. The Health Care Assistant performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications
- Grade 10 plus graduation from a recognized Health Care Assistant program or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- Registration in good standing with the BC Care Aid Registry – this must be maintained throughout employment here.
- Current First Aid and CPR Certification
- Food Safe Certification
- WHMIS or SPECO Certification
- Violence Prevention Module completion from the Learning Hub.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to deal with others effectively.
- Physical ability to carry out the duties of the position.
- Ability to organize work.
- Ability to operate related equipment.
- Prefer education related to working with adults with dementia/Alzheimer’s
