In Memory of Corona Virus Victims by Anita

Anita, one of our Evergreen residents, wanted an opportunity to connect with North Americans and express her sympathy for the many people who lost their lives because of the Coronavirus.

Our 88 year old artist chose to express this great sorrow by collecting locally grown flowers and creating a floral design that could be viewed at Evergreen as a mural and online. She hopes that this art piece will bring comfort to the many individuals who have experienced difficult challenges this year.

At Baptist Housing we feel privileged to encourage and share our residents' talents. This piece is being displayed in our Chaplaincy office and it has encouraged many during this time including our team members. Our Chaplain Claudia feels that projects like these deeply encourage her because they are embodiments of living an Evergreen life!
