Oak Bay News | Photographers focus on the shoreline

Darlaine Bagshaw, 80, plays piano everyday for Residents before meals at Shannon Oaks. Her friend took her down to the marina to see this piano, which she played for some time. I thought I would share in case you wanted to put in the Oak Bay newspaper. She has been playing the piano since she was 5 years old. Her friend Sheri Tromp wrote this about her playing:

'Ode to Darlaine

Darlaine’s music takes my thoughts

From the past into the present

For me, her music

Sometimes works like medicine,

When the sparkling notes on the piano

Are captivating my thought process

And I can just be and enjoy'.
